The fruit of absolute complicity and the union of two musical soulmates, Paixão ('Passion' in Portuguese) celebrates a shared love for melody and acoustic rhythm. In a duo with accordionist Alexis Lambert, clarinetist Aurélie Tropez delivers an instrumental dialogue of rare sensuality and infectious joy. Between original compositions vibrating with swing and soulful reinterpretations of traditional Brazilian choros, this album explores a nomadic, poetic jazz. A stripped-back, deeply moving work, where emotion arises from the simplicity of the gesture and shared breath.
